DescriptionFestival Chorale Oregon, Solveig Holmquist, director, will perform this Cantata for chorus, strings, flute and drum. The text is taken from poems of native people, including poems and legends of Lakota, Navajo, Yokuts, Inuit and Aboriginal tribes. The concert also features a narrator and orchestral accompaniment with native flute and drums. With Linn-Benton Community Chorale
Festival Chorale Oregon is well known for its performance of major choral works with full orchestra accompaniment. The choir, now in its 21st year, has traveled to Europe three times and performed at Carnegie Hall in 1999.
