This event is celebrated to commemmorate the journey of Mary and Joseph as they sought shelter and hospitality before the birth of Jesus. Posadas are aj oyful Christmas tradition, both here and in Mexico and this event share that joy as participants from Tijuana and San Diego will come together on either side of the border fence to celebrate Christmas with friendship, candles and song.
