The Vintage Festival Board is calling for entries for the annual poster contest. The winner of the contest will receive $500 and have their artwork displayed on the official Vintage Festival poster and t-shirt. Entries are due by 5 pm on May 10, 2007 and the winner will be announced Thursday, May 17. All entries should be submitted to VOMVF Poster Contest, 75 Bonneau Road, Sonoma, CA 95476, attention Matt Dockstader. Submissions should be in full color, in final poster form and be designed to fit an 11 x 14 inch format. The artwork and design for the poster must be original and include the following text: Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, Sonoma, California, September 28, 29, 30, 2007.

This year’s theme for the 110th annual Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival will be “Celebrating Sonoma’s Heritage.” According to Vintage Festival Board Vice President Chris Susha, “The board decided to pick a broad theme this year, to honor the many important cultural and historical aspects of our community.”

The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is celebrating its 110th year and is the second oldest festival in California, following the Rose Parade. The Vintage Festival will be held the weekend of September 28-30 at various locations in and around Sonoma’s famous plaza.
