ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? THE EXPERIENCE FESTIVAL had it's beginnings at Eagle Island State Park near Boise, Idaho eight (8) years ago. In 2009, THE EXPERIENCE FESTIVAL TOUR will go "on the road" and will make a stop in Boise, Idaho, May 15,16,17. Three days of FUN!! A unique touring event focused on family, community and global awareness, and music featuring Classic Rock, Americana, Blues and New Country music. This media worthy event also features local and touring vendors of unique products and fun things. Variety acts and strolling entertainers are also featured on a second stage, on the grounds, and in the children's area. Watch for our impromptu parades with giant colorful puppets, acrobats, magicians, and other sights and sounds. Visit the special area of local culture, food, and arts at each event. ADMISSION FEE DONATED TO NON-PROFITS: As part of our dedication to community involvement the event admission fee of $5 is donated 50% to The Alzheimer's Association to fund Worldwide research and support regional and local programs for those diagnosed with the disease, and 50% to LOCAL non-profit(s). Likewise we offer a GLOBAL AWARENESS vendor where visitors can learn about topics such as Green Building Techniques, Green Gardening Tips, Sustainable Living Education and much more. Teddy Roosevelt said, "The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assests which it must turn over to the next generation increased, and not impaired in value".
Performers
Each day will feature a touring Headline music group, two (2)traveling support groups, and two (2) regional or local bands. Various variety acts such as magic, jugglers, acrobats, face painters, etc. will be featured on the second stage, in the children's area and roving the festival grounds. Full music roster to be announced by March 15, 2009.
