The fourth annual Stars & Stripes Festival will be a three-day extravaganza held Friday, June 25 through Sunday, June 27, 2010 located in the heart of Downtown Mount Clemens. The 2010 Stars & Stripes Festival will consist of world-class recording artists each night, as well as the hottest regional and local acts performing on three different stages throughout the downtown area. There is no admission charge and the live entertainment will again encompass a wide variety of musical styles from Rock, R&B, Jazz and Country. The event kicks off Friday, June 25 with Downtown Mount Clemens spectacular fireworks display which traditionally draws over 70,000 people. Beer, wine and liquor will be sold throughout the streets with portions of the proceeds going to benefit a variety of charities. The 2009 Stars & Stripes Festival drew over 500,000 people and we anticipate exceeding that number in 2010. This type of event would not be possible without the Mayor, Sheriff, Downtown Development Authority and City Council’s support and its utmost confidence in the organizers. The Stars & Stripes Festival is produced by Funfest Productions…a proven team that has been instrumental in events such as Arts, Beats and Eats, The Detroit Country Music Hoedown, Harley Fest, The Detroit International Riverdays Festival, Detroit Grand Prix, Motown Winter Blast and Meijer St. Clair Riverfest!
