There's no need to imagine what the holiday season looks like in other parts of the world, when its in your own backyard! From the dances of Native Alaskan Tlingit tribes, Spanish Flamenco dance, songs of Russia, performances from Japan, Ireland, the Middle East, North Africa, Croatia, and North America will be the focus of the three-day opening events of Seattle Center's Holiday Traditions at Seattle Center House. The weekend is the kickoff to the warmth, wonder and spirit of the holidays, which bring annual delights for five weeks to Seattle Center, culminating in a dazzling display of fireworks on New Year's Eve, December 31st.
