This blast from the past allows baby boomers to relive the happy days and it provides an opportunity for those who didn't experience the '50s and '60s firsthand to enjoy the era. During these five days of yesteryear, cars are cherry and cruisin' is too cool. More than 880,000 people flock to this event to check out more than 6,000 classic cars from 38 states across the nation. Want to be-bop with your baby? Well, it wouldn't be right not to have a prom night, as well as drag races, a show-n-shine, a nostalgia fair, a swap meet, free nightly entertainment, a carparade,national and international media coverage, a car auction, a Poker run and walk, $120,000 in car judging competitions, and a cool car showroom to drool over! The music scene this year will pull out some of the best from the past.
